Mark was also a key deal maker and directed regional and national real estate activity as a member of the store expansion teams at CarMax, Circuit City, Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Blockbuster, Zany Brainy, IKEA and Brookstone. Mark has performed site selection and deal negotiation on over 450 retail store purchase and lease transactions in virtually every major and secondary market in the US and Puerto Rico. He has opened retail stores in shopping center venues including lifestyle centers, neighborhood center, strip/power centers, regional malls, outlet centers and urban street locations. In addition to representing tenants he has also worked with landlords in the design, development and leasing of their rental properties and has extensive experience in the disposition and sale of commercial retail surplus properties.
