History
Hydrate IV Bar was founded by Denver, Colorado native, Katie Gillberg. After graduating with a Business degree from the University of Arizona, Katie moved to Las Vegas where she worked as a medical sales rep. It was during this time that she recognized that IV therapy could be used for much more than just treating hangovers. She believed that IV therapy could be an alternative way for people to be proactive about their health and wellness.
The first Hydrate IV Bar opened in Denver, Colorado in April of 2016. By 2020, Katie had opened four spas throughout the Denver metro area.. With the encouragement of clients and friends, Gillberg saw an opportunity to grow the Hydrate IV Bar brand through franchising.
During the pandemic lockdown, Gillberg and her business partners, Amy Dickerson and Chad Grote began working on business and legal plans to franchise the brand.
In late 2020, the first Hydrate IV Franchise spa opened in Fort Collins, CO and was soon followed by spas in Arizona and Texas. . As of Q1 2024, there are 4 corporate spas and 10 Franchise Hydrate IV Bars located throughout Colorado, Arizona, Texas and Utah. We are excited to continue to lead others into a wellness lead lifestyle, and welcome new Franchise partners into the Hydrate IV Bar family.
