Transworld Business Advisors was founded in 1979 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as a single business brokerage office. The company spent decades refining its approach to helping entrepreneurs buy and sell businesses, developing the systems and processes that would eventually become the foundation of a franchise model.
In 2010, Transworld partnered with United Franchise Group, one of the world's largest franchise organizations, to begin franchising nationwide and internationally. That partnership accelerated growth significantly. Today, Transworld operates 250 offices with more than 1,000 agents across 20+ countries, making it the world's largest business brokerage franchise. We're larger than our next three competitors combined, and we continue to expand into new markets every year.
